About
Entering into therapy is an act of bravery and those willing to ask for help, to seek answers, and make changes are the ones who will emerge successful and whole. Life can be very difficult and full of pain and disappointment and navigating that alone can lead to further isolation, fear, depression, and anxiety. Therapy is a place to feel connected, to work with others who have learned to navigate the tides and shifts of an ever changing, and at times, tumultuous landscape. I am here to work with you, to support you, to challenge you, and to provide you with resources on your way to feeling better and more in control of your own life.
“Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart....live in the question.”
― Rainer Maria Rilke
A Native of Wyoming, I grew up knowing the value and the impact of nature on the well being of the human soul. I am advocate of whole health and wellness and an HEAS™ (health at every size) advocate with a passion for social justice.
I received a Masters of Science in Counseling at Oklahoma State University and am licensed by the State Board of Behavioral Health. My education is continuous in order to provide the most up to date services and involves extensive training in eating disorders, mood disorders, and affirmative treatment for the LGBTQIA population. My most recent ventures are leading me into supervision of therapists in training.
I began my private practice in order to support and assist members of my community in facing and overcoming their personal struggles and achieving well-being.
We are naturally social creatures and thus to struggle alone is counter-intuitive to our nature despite our culture's expectations of independence and silent suffering. I aspire to help heal the world by healing myself and by walking side by side with others who aspire for the same.

Therapeutic Approach
It is important to the therapeutic process that you feel safe in the therapy room. Initially you may feel uncomfortable both with talking to a new person and the process of therapy. I assure you that with time, and some vulnerability, you will be able to ease into the unique process of therapy.
While the approaches used in the process of therapy differ depending on our goals and the various cultures and backgrounds of the client, my practice is guided by evidenced based treatments to ensure that you are receiving the best care possible. These include the following:
